ORIGINAL PEN & INK/PASTEL COMBINATIONS
Pen & Ink/Pastel Combinations is the combining of the 2 mediums.
A layout of the subject is done in pencil, then the detailed pen & ink work is done. When that is completed the Pastel color(powder form) is applied. An original can take up to 3 months(or more) to complete, depending on the size and amount of detail. Originals are done on a 4 ply acid free rag. This is a thick acid free paper.
HAND-PAINTED LITHOGRAPH
The Hand-Painted Lithographs are part original and part print. When the Pen & Ink portion of the drawing is completed, a very limited number of lithographs(prints) are done. This is ink work only. Then Lonnie applies the Pastel color to each lithograph. Because of this, no two are exactly the same. These are all signed and numbered. These are done on a 2 ply acid free rag.
PRINTS
The print editions are full color lithographs. Ink work and pastel color are reproduced. The edition size on the larger pieces is usually 250 and the small pieces 1250. These are signed and numbered.
